Ty-Rap cable ties come in handy not only for tying things together but also for shaping forms. In fact, they are an essential part of the design of this miniature car, which, as usual, is made of common parts and materials.  タイラップは結束に加え、形を造る上でも重宝します。このミニカーもタイラップがデザインの鍵になっています。部材は例によって、どれもありふれたものです。

I especially like the tail fin made of a wristwatch band, which moves from side to side. 　腕時計のバンドで作った尾びれが気に入っています。左右にリアルに動きます。

Rubber Finger Cot Gecko

"Use materials for what they are, without cutting, curving and painting" is a rule that I follow when making assemblages. 「材料はありのまま使う。切ったり、削ったり、塗ったりしない」というのが僕の信条です。

Somehow, a gecko came up in my mind when I was fiddling with rubber finger cots. 指サックをいじっていたら、なぜかヤモリが頭に浮かびました。

A nice combination, isn't it?  LOL　なかなかいい組み合わせでしょ？

Last night’s concert by the Keith Jarrett Trio was absolutely outstanding, giving me refreshing perspectives and ideas.
